Well, combat sports fans may have witnessed numerous instances of a scheduled fight between a male and a female. But, it won’t be wrong the say that the majority of the community doesn’t take them pretty well. The UFC and PSL head honcho might find himself becoming the target of such fans after his words controversial answer to a PSL reporter’s question.
As already mentioned, the question from the reporter was about the victor of the first-ever PSL official women’s match, Sheena Bathory’s next showdown. It was apparent that White hadn’t planned anything about Bathory’s next move. He looked quite unprepared to answer the question. But, his words while laughing causally may spark a controversy now.
White mentioned that Bathory’s “nasty” slapping power currently has him in a state of “worry” about finding women opponents that can match her prowess. But, the 54-year-old’s next comments were pretty shocking. He said, “She might have to start fighting guys. She’s nasty”.
Although several followers may be standing against White’s words at this juncture, he hasn’t really cared a lot about what they have to say. PSL is no stranger to criticism. Still, White’s desire to continue the league says a lot about his cold reception of public opinion on PSL.
Dana White may be right about Sheena Bathory being able to fight guys
It’s nowhere true that a woman can’t beat a man in physical activities or fights. But most fans view such competitions as really unethical events. Otherwise, there’s probably no other reason behind discouraging Bathory from fighting a male opponent.
