In the incident, Sherri Martel unexpectedly delivered a powerful slap to Hulk Hogan, resulting in him losing consciousness. “The first time I was ever knocked out from a slap was from a girl in the garden, Sherri Martel, scary Sherri”. He provided additional details about the occurrences of that memorable evening and offered an explanation of the incident’s unfolding. “Yeah I had macho man (Randy Savage) hooked, you know. Took him over to the apron. Sherri stuck when she went to slap me. He ducked, and she cut my ear and I stumbled and went down on one knee”.

Upon resurfacing, he discovered himself sitting on the ground, feeling dazed for approximately 20 seconds.
