One of the more exciting matchups apart from the main event at this Saturday’s UFC Saudi Arabia event is the co-main event between Sharaputdin Magomedov and Michael Page. The man known as ‘Bullet’ inside the Octagon is no stranger to trouble outside the sport, having been involved in public altercations on more than one occasion. Living up to his scary aura, the Dagestani striker issued a warning to the man known as ‘Venom’ or ‘MVP’.

This fight is a striker’s dream, as both fighters prefer to stand and trade. Even better for fans, both fighters have a flair for theatrics, with flashy styles and incredible punching power. Shara ‘Bullet’ is quite aware of the danger that ‘MVP’ brings to the table, but is unfazed by the challenge. In an interview with Red Corner MMA, the Dagestan native issued an ice-cold warning to the English fighter.

“I’m not going to look at him as my favorite fighter. But as an opponent who is trying to cause me pain in front of the whole world and my family. Of course, I realize that he is a big threat to me. What he is going to see in that cage will be something he has never seen before. He can’t imagine what kind of predator he’s about to face.”, said ‘Bullet’.

We can be assured that Sharaputdin Magomedov is deadly serious about the fight, and will have bad intentions going into the Octagon against the veteran former Bellator fighter. For his part, however, the 22-3-0 star doesn’t seem fazed but rather excited to face off against the dangerous Dagestan export.

Michael Venom Page is ready to face ‘Bullet’

Michael ‘Venom’ Page is a veteran with 25 fights, so it can be assumed that he will be relying on his experience apart from his high-level skills. It’s safe to say that ‘MVP’ is pretty confident in his skills, as he displayed the same in a conversation with Michael Bisping. “I think he will be a lot more stubborn in believing in his ability,” Page said. “So, I think I’d be landing some crazy shots if he decides to go for a takedown, because like I said, I think he in his mind he believes he’s the best when it comes to the striking game.”

Will 'Bullet' Magomedov's predator instincts overpower 'Venom' Page's experience in the Octagon?

He even casually added that the Russian might be ‘bloodied down’ if he goes for a takedown. But ‘Bullet’ was not far behind as he went to social media to say that it would be the former Bellator fighter who would be bleeding. ‘Venom’ said that he took this fight because apparently Magomedov called out ‘his boy’ Israel Adesanya.

Page was pretty stoked with the way ‘Bullet’ defeated Armen Petrosyan at UFC 308. It was, after all, a double-spinning back fist that put Petrosyan’s lights out. Meditating on ‘Bullet’s post-fight interview, MVP stated, “Then he called, yeah, then he called out my boy ‘Izzy.’ Mate, I’m at that weight right now. You don’t even have to wait too long. That one there, I’ll just take straight away just for the fun of it.”

So will Page protect the honor of his friend Izzy and emerge victorious? Or will he experience what a dangerous predator ‘Bullet’ is? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
