The UFC Fight Night 192 event is all set to be one of the best UFC events of this year. There are many great fights that are scheduled to happen on the night, including a matchup between Cory Sandhagen and T.J. Dillashaw.

Now latest news suggests that the event is all set to get grander as a potential heavyweight fight is expected to be added to the card. According to MMA Junkie, Shamil Abdurakhimov and Chris Daukaus are all set to fight at the event. This fight will be one to watch out for as both fighters will look to improve their standings in the Heavyweight division.

‘Abrek’ last competed in the UFC on September 7, 2019, at the UFC 242 event. The fighter faced Curtis Blaydes and lost the fight via a first-round TKO. While Chris Daukas is coming into this fight on the back of four back-to-back victories. Daukaus last fought in the UFC against Aleksei Oleinik at UFC Fight Night 185. Daukaus won that fight via a first-round TKO (punches).

This fight is important to both fighters as they are ranked inside the Top 10 in the UFC heavyweight rankings. Since his fight against Blaydes ‘Abrek’ has been touted to return multiple times, but on every occasion, the fight got canceled. Hopefully, this time around the fight happens as fans have been eagerly waiting to see Abdurakhimov back in action.
