The color commentator of the UFC, Joe Rogan, is inarguably one of the most renowned figures in the entire company. Rogan is also a seasoned comedian, podcaster, and also has been a TV presenter. His podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience‘ is avidly watched and followed by millions.

It is a ‘Spotify’ exclusive and has topped the ‘Top Podcasts’ list of Spotify multiple times. His notable works in various spheres have also gained him a massive following on social media platforms. Rogan often connects with his fans through social media, and shares his thoughts which receive numerous reactions.

Recently, Rogan took to Instagram as he shared the video of a man in the wild, getting chased by a mountain cat. The man in the video finally managed to escape the cat which was looking to pounce on him.

Rogan shared the video, which was uploaded by ‘Jared C Erickson’. The video showcased Erickson in the wild, while a mountain cat started to encroach on him. A pistol could be seen in Erickson’s hand, but he was trying to refrain from shooting.

He finally pulled the trigger when the cat was just about to attack him. However, he was careful enough not to shoot at the animal directly. Erickson also put out a second shot to outwit the cat, which was already retreating after the first shot.

It went away scared after Erickson fired the second shot. He managed to film the whole incident, which really says a lot about his stable nerves.

Joe Rogan captioned this video, “I am 100% sure I would have put the phone down and sent that cat to the afterlife. @huntingthenorthwest @jarederickson1980 got this crazy video.. The commentator made it clear how he would have dealt with the situation. Further, many social media users shared their own opinions about the video.

Joe Rogan: Fans were enthralled by the video

The video had Joe Rogan’s fans both worried and fascinated at the same time. It also garnered comments from a few famed MMA fighters. The noted UFC middleweight Fighter, Eryk Anders was evidently worried. He wrote, “Buddy playin with his life”.

UFC lightweight fighter, Jalin ‘The Tarantula’ Turner’ commented, “Dude is bold for filming the whole thing. I’d have dropped my phone and emptied that mag when it charged”. His comment seemed to bear a lot of resemblance to Joe Rogan’s caption.

The known comedian ‘Joe List’ however, applied some of his dark humor as he mentioned, “I’ve had to do this with some cougars after a show. You know what I mean guys?”. His sarcastic comment received a whopping 13.5k likes from the fans who knew what he meant.

Strikeforce legend, Gilbert Melendez was also seen commenting as he wrote, “I like how the cat struts away”. He was happy to see Erickson scaring the cougar away.
