Joe Rogan is not impressed with the recent scientific discovery that pushes back the date of the age of the universe. The recent scientific expeditions have put the age of the universe at 26.7 billion years, nearly twice as old as previously theorized. The discovery created a stir in the scientific world, but the UFC commentator is doubtful of its worth. He asks a pertinent question. Are humans ignorant of the bigger picture?
The 55-year-old believes these efforts to uncover the mysteries of the universe are in vain. The human mind cannot comprehend the 26.7 billion years of cosmic fluctuations. Further, the famed podcaster, who never shies away to invite personalities such as Neil deGrasse Tyson, labels these expeditions “nonsense”. Now, Elon Musk has jumped into the fray and shared his two cents.

Sharing the discovery on his social media handles, the standup comic declared, “What’s crazy is 13.7 billion years is really beyond our grasp of understanding already, and now they’re thinking the universe could be twice as old.”
Moreover, he asked how long before new research and technology push the new date further back. The comedian also inquired how long would it take before humans conclude that there was “no beginning” to the vast universe. In the long penned post, he then took a swipe as he declared, “We concentrate on some pretty stupid sh*t here on earth”.
Lastly, the color commentator wondered about the rationale behind such a human action. He announced, “Sometimes I wonder if the reason why we pay attention to so much nonsense is because the vastness of it all is just too uncomfortable for our evolving minds.”
