Former UFC middleweight title challenger, Paulo Costa continues to run wild on Twitter. His activities on social media often produce some hilarious moments that can entertain the MMA community. From time to time, Costa takes aim at fellow middleweight fighters including Luke Rockhold, Israel Adesanya, and he even got in a verbal spat with UFC president Dana White.

The middleweight contender has been on a decline ever since his loss to Adesanya in 2020. Upon his return in 2021, he faced another former title challenger in Marvin Vettori but failed to secure a win. Additionally, he also failed to make the 185 lbs limit and showed up around 20 pounds heavier. As a result, the promotion turned it into a light-heavyweight contest.

His unprofessional conduct and horrible weight miss have raised red flags and his days as a middleweight might be done. The Brazilian took to Instagram to share a reel and mocked the whole incident. He reportedly teased a move away from the sport and vowed to train hard than ever.

If there is one thing Dana White hates more than cheaters, it would be fighters missing weight. The Brazilian has definitely landed himself in a troubling situation with the promotion as he attacked White.

It isn’t the first time, Costa teased a move away from the sport of MMA. On top of that, the mixed martial artist also posted a strange meme insinuating something about Dana White. In a now-deleted, Tweet, Costa added an image that irked the UFC president.
