Sean Strickland is one of the most polarizing fighters in the UFC. The loudmouthed UFC star has some of the most controversial opinions on the internet. Additionally, Strickland is also prone to making offensive jokes on sensitive topics. He has also landed in trouble owing to his statements. However, that has not stopped the UFC star from making more such statements.

Recently, the UFC middleweight contender engaged in some training in his gym. Therein, he provided an update on one of his teammates in a usual Sean Strickland manner along with a message.

Sean Strickland provided an update on one of his teammates ahead of his fight in the upcoming UFC Fight Night. The UFC middleweight contender acted as a ‘coach’ for Albert Duraev. The video uploaded by Strickland showed him watching as Duraev was sparring with another teammate. The American wrote along with the tweet, “Albert getting ready for battle”.

Additionally, the controversial UFC middleweight also posted the video with Joe Biden’s audio. The video displayed Duraev polishing his ground and pound skills in the gym.

Albert Duraev faces Chidi Njokuani in an exciting fight in the UFC middleweight division. ‘Machete’ will look to bounce back to winning ways after suffering a defeat in his last bout in the UFC at the hands of Joaquin Buckley.

Hence, Duraev engaged in training with Sean Strickland at MMA Xtreme Couture. Despite the pair training appearing to be close, this was not the case, as an argument ensued between the duo in the past.

Given the loudmouth that he is, Strickland is bound to get into trouble with his controversial opinions. The UFC middleweight is known for crossing some lines with his jokes and he opened up about one such incident in a viral video.

Strickland said in a past interview about why he stopped making fun of Islam. The UFC fighter said that he was confronted by Albert Duraev, along with a bunch of Chechens and Dagestanis in the gym. He also said that Duraev was respectful in his approach, and that is what led to Strickland making this decision. It seemed the words and actions of his teammate touched Strickland.
