Sean Strickland never holds back when he wants to speak his mind. He is undoubtedly one of UFC’s most entertaining fighters with an excellent talent for comedic timing. 

With that being said, though, his comedy is mainly contemporary and sometimes unorthodox. Strickland is known for mocking his fellow fighters in the UFC and former fighters as well. Recently, it was Austin Vanderford who was on the receiving end.

Austin Vanderford suffered his first-ever defeat of his professional MMA career. He clashed against Gegard Mousasi at Bellator 275 for the Bellator middleweight world championship title, where he lost via TKO in the first round.

Following his title shot loss to Gegard Mousasi, Strickland threw shade at Vanderford and Paige Vanzant with satire in his most recent tweet.

Strickland Tweeted – “Paige VanZant paying the bills after @mousasi_mma napped her wife lmao!!!! I love this shit, a strong woman becoming the head of the household… I need me one of these lol!! Do I cut my b*lls off now or later?!”

Sean Strickland and the UFC 

Sean Strickland last fought Jack Hermansson on February 5, 2022, at UFC Vegas 47. ‘Tarzan’ dominated ‘The Joker’ throughout the fight en route to a lopsided unanimous decision victory.

Following this victory, Strickland now sits at the #4 position in the UFC middleweight rankings. Thus, it is safe to say that a win against any top 3 contenders will put him next in line for a title shot against Israel Adesanya.
