American Ultra Marathon athlete David Goggins has thrown a challenge. Will Sean Strickland accept it? He has been in many feuds before, but this latest one is pretty unexpected from the former UFC middleweight champion. Strickland recently responded to a challenge issued by the fitness guru, and his response was in the classic Strickland style. He challenged Goggins to a 15-minute spar and the fitness expert/motivational speaker accepted the challenge and requested it to be well documented. This response was through a video and ‘Tarzan’ did not stay silent as he responded with another video through his Instagram. Let’s take a look at this feud that has broken out between a duo that no one expected to see.
The former Navy SEAL is known for his extreme endurance training and exercises. He recently decided to call out ‘Tarzan’ to face a challenge in his infamous “Hell Week.” Goggins posted a video that was reshared by MMA Casuals where he issued a challenge saying that it was Strickland’s opportunity to show the world that he could beat up the former Navy SEAL. He even invited Strickland to bring his camera crew to capture the whole incident.
The UFC athlete was not far behind and he recently uploaded a video, accepting the challenge. He wrote in the caption, “@davidgoggins challenged me.. I’ll admit it, you will beat me in a jog. Just occupying time while waiting for a title shot…..” Along with this menacing caption, Strickland said in the video, “Goggins, I heard you want a piece. Challenge accepted. Just so you know man, the only thing you beat me at in life is f*king running. But guess what, I don’t have to f*king run. You run for me.”

He even replied to a comment by famous social media influencer Nina Marie Daniele who wrote, “Challenge should consist of Navy Seal training and a sparring session. Loser carries the boats and the logs LOL.” He replied by saying that he would spar at some point and would carry a boat for that challenge, and added, “Without some form of violence that’s a no go lol.”

‘Tarzan’ claimed that he was just occupying some time while he was waiting for the middleweight title shot. On top of that, this is not the first time that Strickland will be accepting a challenge from a Navy seal. He previously set the MMA world ablaze after sparring with another former Navy SEAL at Xtreme Couture.

Sean Strickland took on Mitch Aguiar
Mitch Aguiar had recently claimed that fighting was an interesting and fun hobby for him. He has always been in touch with martial arts and even practiced the art while he was serving his country and won many BJJ competitions. The Navy SEAL caught Sean Strickland’s attention in that interview. After that, the duo practiced sparring with each other and the UFC star only had good things about his opponent.
He wrote via Instagram Stories, “The only SEAL that said yes… But man… He’s one of the real ones. Probably why he was the only one that said yes.” “Tarzan’ generally speaks down to people but this time he seems to have developed a sense of respect for his sparing partner. Meanwhile, the former UFC star Jake Shields seemed impressed with Aguiar’s fighting skills as he took to his X handle to praise the veteran.

Shields wrote, “Mitch Aguiar is a savage and would beat 99.9 percent of humans in a fight He decided he wanted to spar with Sean Strickland for 25 min He quickly learned there is a big difference between world champions but regardless he took a brutal beating and didn’t quit Sean obviously wasn’t looking for a Ko but still dished out a bad beating This is in round 5.”
