After Sean O’Malley claimed recently that he could beat Conor McGregor in a fight recently, the Irishman responded with a smiley face emoji, clearly ridiculing the bantamweight champ. And ‘Suga’ has responded in kind on his ‘TimboSuga Show’ with his coach Tim Welch.
“This guy’s a bully man. He’s just an absolute bully, he is,” O’Malley said.
His producer interjected and set the scene, clarifying and setting the scene for the two hosts on the topic. “Sean O’Malley believes he’d beat Conor McGregor if they ever fought and he did a laughing face,” the producer said.

To which ‘Suga’ succinctly replied simply: “God talk about a dude’s relevance,” clearly referencing the fact that ‘Mac’ wasn’t as relevant as he was before his three-year break from fighting. While ‘Suga’ may have dismissed ‘Mac’s response, it is a fact that the Irishman remains the biggest superstar in the sport by far and a fight with him would be the biggest fight the bantamweight title holder could have at the moment.
‘Mac’ and ‘Suga’ of course, have been feuding for the past few years. O’Malley has declared that he wants to be the next Conor McGregor (i.e., the biggest superstar in the UFC) but ‘Mac’ has laughed at all such claims.

The Irishman however, has been trashing O’Malley every chance he gets and even took uncalled-for shots at him seemingly out of nowhere while chewing out Ryan Garcia after the latter tested positive for a banned substance after his historic Devin Haney clash earlier this year. However, ‘Suga’ thinks it’s all just down to McGregor being jealous.
Sean O’Malley explains why Conor McGregor trashes him every chance he gets
O’Malley claimed in a recent interview that the reason Conor McGregor has been talking trash about him online is because he is threatened by where ‘Suga’ is at the moment. He feels that since ‘Mac’ is declining rapidly in his professional career (McGregor has lost three of his last four fights), he cannot stand seeing a superb striker like he was in his prime become a star and have the gumption to talk about emulating him.

“I hope once I’m a little bit older and I see someone else coming up, that I’m excited for them, you know, happy for them, almost maybe a mentor towards them rather than just jealous and bitter,” he said.
Recalling how ‘Mac’ once tried to sign him up to his sports management agency and even gave him advice a few years ago, the Irishman has totally changed his tune since ‘Suga’ became champ. The 135-pound champ seemingly felt sad for the mega-star more than anything else, and hoped that he doesn’t get as bitter as the Dubliner and can even help a rising star if he was in ‘Mac’s position one day.
