Sean O’Malley digs Shavkat Rakhmonov! The Bantamweight fighter recently praised and showed his appreciation for Rakhmonov. In a podcast, O’Malley talked about the 28-year-old Kazakh fighter. This came up after the news of Rakhmonov’s recently canceled fight. As a result, they also speculated that Shavkat Rakhmonov might be fighting Khamzat Chimaev soon. Upon asking his views on the Kazakh fighter, Sean O’Malley‘s response was stunning.

In their podcast, ‘Bromalley Show’, the O’Malley brothers talked about Rakhmonov’s canceled fight. The siblings featured this topic in episode 90 of the podcast run. Both of them appreciated Shavkat Rakhmonov for his career.

Geoff Neal vs Shavkat Rakhmonov.” Upon hearing the news, Sean O’Malley was immediately shocked. ‘Sugar’ then proceeded to ask the reason for the same. The reason why Shavkat Rakhmonov’s fight was canceled was due to his opponent’s last-moment injury. It was supposed to be the first UFC fight match of 2023.

Now that the fight is canceled, the matchmakers are reportedly looking for a new opponent. Several fans speculate that Rakhmonov will end up going against Khamzat Chimaev. Daniel O’Malley shares his thought out loud by saying, “Dude, that’d be such a sick fight!” Upon asking his views on the Kazakh fighter, Sean O’Malley replies, “He’s like under the radar; super low!”
