KSI is a man of many talents. He began his career as a YouTuber and was one of the first social media figures to step foot into the boxing ring. In 2018, he took on Joe Weller, another British social media star, in a boxing event that set the stage for his transition to combat sports. He won the match which led to him calling out Logan Paul as his next opponent. The two would face each other twice with their first fight being declared a draw. The rematch then occurred in 2019, as their first professional bout. KSI was awarded the victory due to a split decision.
His journey as a boxer led to him facing Tommy Fury on October 14 as part of the Dillon Danis vs Logan Paul fight card. KSI lost the fight, but a clip of him talking about a possible MMA bout before the event has been making the rounds on the internet. And the opponent he chose is surprising!

KSI and Logan Paul have recently become a part of the UFC as sponsors. Their company, ‘Prime’ was co-founded by Paul and KSI. The drinks company is now considered the official ‘hydration partner’ of the UFC. And UFC CEO Dana White is no stranger to either Paul or KSI.
In the past, White has been candid about his opinions on the two. During the Aljamain Sterling vs Sean O’Malley post-fight press conference, the UFC CEO was asked about his thoughts on the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis bout. In his trademark fashion, he stated, “I like Logan a lot, great kid. But, who in this room thinks that’s a great fight.” As the room remained silent, White rested his point by stating, “Nobody, not one guy?”
In the video shared by SportBible on Instagram, Tommy Fury and KSI are both questioned about hypothetical match-ups in boxing and MMA. They both had interesting picks when choosing who to fight Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, or John Fury and Tyson Fury.

However, when asked to pick between fighting Joe Rogan or Dana White in an MMA bout, KSI revealed his pick. He stated, “We’ll go Dana then, Joe Rogan’s kicks are a bit deadly”
The British star isn’t wrong. Joe Rogan is notorious in the MMA community for videos of him demonstrating his kicks. In fact, he also holds the record for the hardest kick recorded on the PowerKube at the UFC PI. Fighters like UFC welterweight legend, Georges St.Pierre have publicly acknowledged the podcaster and UFC commentator as having some of the best kicks they’ve ever seen.
Dana White and his funny reaction to Mike Tyson bringing up the British star
White and his reaction to the British star’s name being brought up on Mike Tyson’s ‘Hot Boxin’ podcast has led to hilarious reactions across the internet. During his appearance on the podcast, White was asked about his thoughts on Paul and KSI. White acknowledged the pair’s success and stated, “Logan Paul is a businessman. This kid is really making some big moves and KSI too. Those kids are making real money and doing their thing.”
Tyson however interrupted White by singing ‘KSI’ into the microphone. This led a confused White to ask him what he meant, and laughter ensued in the room once Tyson clarified his sudden outburst!

KSI lost his match against Tommy Fury by a majority decision. Both men weighed in at the cruiserweight division for the 6-round bout. In his post-fight statements, KSI stated that he felt he had done enough to secure a victory. He stated, “Robbery…That’s a robbery, bro.”
The video in which he shares his picks for his MMA opponents intrigues fans. And it has left them wondering if KSI will explore another combat sport and test himself. With his loss against Tommy Fury, it will be interesting to see if the British social media and music star decides to step into the Octagon.
