Darren Till has recently been making headlines, albeit for all the wrong reasons. Following his loss to Dricus du Plessis in December, Till was removed from the UFC roster, making it his fifth consecutive loss in his last six outings. Despite claiming that he voluntarily asked the promotion to deal with lingering health issues, ‘The Gorilla’ mentioned that he was inundated with a plethora of offers following his UFC exit. It now appears that the 30-year-old has finally landed himself one mammoth of a fight in line next. Recent reports suggest that ‘The Gorilla’ will face the YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul in his next outing.

While this fight may promise a big paycheck and a good deal of promotion for Till, it appears to be a low point for him in the eyes of many fight fans.

As the news reportedly came from Dillon Danis via a since-deleted tweet soon after Logan Paul confirmed it to Dave Portnoy on his podcast, ‘Impaulsive’, that “I’ve got a new opponent. Not said yet… I’ll tell you, and we’ll bleep it.”

The Liverpudlian sent out a tweet with emojis of a moneybag, upraising finger and a boxing glove. This seems like a confirmation of what the UFC fans fear and hope to not be true. However, the official announcement is yet to be made. So, the fight fans will have to let the time tell the truth.
