In the latest iteration of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan shared his perspective of the Russia-Ukraine conflict that has also divided the sports world.
Ever since Rogan’s podcast took off after the hit episode with billionaire tech magnate Elon Musk, Rogan has become a household name. Not only fame, but money also came knocking on his doors, as Spotify gave him an exclusivity deal worth $200 million. And all of it has been possible because of his rather interesting take on everyday news.

Continuing on the same path, Rogan invited Freddie Gibbs and Brian Moses on JRE #1786. With his guests, Rogan discussed the burning topics of the world and what is more important than the conflict that is literally tearing apart half of Europe.
Talking about the conflict, Rogan said: “There’s a f***ing war going on right now. There’s a crazy war going on right now in Russia and I spent, no, excuse me, in Ukraine. I’ve been, I spent the last day and a half watching videos on it. Trying to figure out what the f**k is going on and it’s complicated, it’s really complicated. But what it seems is that Russia is worried that Ukraine has massive reserves of oil and of gas.”

This is not the first time Rogan shared something about the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Apparently, he got into some trouble for sharing an untrue story regarding an actor.
Joe Rogan clarifies the Steven Seagal post
The long-time UFC commentator recently took to Instagram to share a post on American actor, screenwriter, and martial artist Steven Seagal. The post bemused fans as they thought it was meant for humor. However, Rogan, being an influencer, indirectly led people to believe that Seagal had indeed joined the Russian faction.

Credits to the fact that he had close connections with the Russian top brass. Rogan weighed in on the same and later gave a clarification on the retracted post.
“I deleted my earlier post about Steven Seagal being in Ukraine because it was parody, which isn’t surprising, but honestly it wouldn’t be surprising if it was true either. He was banned from Ukraine in 2017 because he was labeled as a national security threat. I, like all of you hope the tragic situation is resolved there quickly,” Rogan wrote in the caption of his post.
