Joe Rogan's choice of Mike Baker—brilliant move or a total misfire? What's your take?

UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan had everything going well with his podcast, offering fans the seemingly perfect mix of entertainment and conspiracy theories. He had previously intrigued listeners by inviting guests like Russell Crowe and Luis Elizondo, discussing UFC topics and other subjects. While Rogan’s choice of guests was being lauded greatly,  it now seems like Rogan has yet again made a wrong move, crushing his fans’ expectations in his latest podcast episode, #2197.

It seems like the former CIA covert operations officer Mike Baker is once again making an appearance! This update was shared on Rogan’s official YouTube channel, and surely, the reaction was not as positive. The issue appears to have stemmed from Mike Baker’s repeated appearances on Joe Rogan’s podcast, with several fans even going as far as to accuse him of being a boring guest who doesn’t reveal much and tends to beat around the bush. This consistent pattern has caused palpable frustration among listeners, making them angry at the mere mention of  Mike Baker in the context of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

Fans trolled Joe Rogan for his choice of guest

As the comment section is filled with trolling of Joe Rogan, some fans have criticized him for not inviting Donald Trump to his podcast. The reason behind this anticipation is that Rogan is avoiding controversy with Spotify, given their fraught history. One comment reads, “ Joe could have Trump on but chooses to have Mike baker on for the 17th time.” Rogans had previously hosted RFK Jr. on his podcast, which raised eyebrows among fans. They wondered why Rogan, a supporter of the Republican Party, hadn’t already invited Trump.

Meanwhile, another fan expressed their nostalgia for past episodes and guests like Russell Crowe, commenting, “Russel Crowe was f**king amazing.” Another fan pointed out Joe Rogan’s habit of not addressing fan feedback, saying, ” Joe really means it when he says he doesn’t read the comments.” Additionally, a fan who was bored with Baker’s repeated appearances remarked, “Baker is here to hand deliver Rogans CIA end of year performance metric.”

Some clever fans also suggested changing the podcast’s name to ‘The Joe and Mike Experience,’ which seemed fitting given that if you search for Joe Rogan Experience Mike Baker’ on YouTube, there has been at least one episode per month for more than two hours each. Additionally, someone who missed former Pentagon employee Luis Elizondo, who previously discussed aliens and UFOs on the podcast, echoed the sentiment, a fan commented, “Need more UFO content!!! Not a CIA psyop.” And who can forget Rogan’s mind-boggling conversation with Terrence Howard?
