UFC Ffyweight contender Roxanne Modafferi took to Twitter and expressed her views on comments made by undisputed champion Israel Adesanya. “The Last Stylebender” had a massive weekend when he walked through Paulo Costa in the main event at UFC 253. After the fight, he fired heavy artillery that caught the attention of many fighters and fans, including Roxanne.

Israel Adesanya was fired up after his statement performance and took to the airways post-fight with Jon Anik. Chiefly, ‘Izzy’ went off on fighters failing to make the weight come ‘Fight Night’ and demanded that stricter fines be imposed.

The ever-outspoken Nigerian born fighter has never been one to shy away from making his voice heard. Modafferi believes that Adesanya’s platform will enable him to bring about a change in the right direction.

Certain fighters close to Israel on the aforementioned card failed to make weight, thus leading his call to action. Main card opening fighter Zubaira Tukhugov failed to make the scale against Hakeem Dawodu. Furthermore, the preliminary card brought another such transgression undertaken against Adesanya’s teammate in Shane Young.
