When Ronda Rousey made her WrestleMania debut with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger had some kind words to say about the former UFC champion.
‘Rowdy’ inarguably is one of the biggest female athletes in combat sports. In fact, she is the first-ever American woman to win an Olympic medal in judo. Back in 2015, Rousey was at the peak of her UFC career.

Moreover, at the same time, the former bantamweight champion got a break in the famous Hollywood action franchise, Fast and Furious, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel.
Therefore, her career was roaring during that period. She was at the ringside at Sunday’s WrestleMania 31 program when ‘The Rock’ brought her inside the ring. The duo later heckled Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Many enjoyed this historic cross-sports moment, including the UFC supremo Dana White who tweeted about it later. Even the seven times Mr. Olympia talked about it later on his official Facebook page.
Schwarzenegger uploaded a picture of himself with Rousey and Johnson. “Great to see you two tonight at #Wrestlemania. Dwayne The Rock Johnson, you’re looking lean and mean, my friend. Ronda Rousey, you look ready to win another three championships in a row,” he wrote in the caption.
Why did Ronda Rousey leave MMA and move to professional wrestling?
After dominating American wrestling, Rowdy turned her attention toward MMA and won four straight bouts in Strikeforce. She later made her UFC debut in 2013, where she was directly made a champion.
Rousey had an incredible UFC run as he racked wins one after the other in stunning fashion. She looked undefeatable until 2015. At UFC 193, the Olympic medalist faced her first-ever MMA setback against Holly Holm.
Following that, fans believed the former champion to bounce back into the win column, as she was still in her prime. But Rousey failed in her next bout too. She suffered a devastating first-round knockout loss.

Both the losses had a heavy toll on the Californian fighter. Therefore, she decided to part ways from the sport and entered pro wrestling. Nevertheless, Rowdy became the first female UFC Hall of Famer and is also the face of WWE now.
