After the Sandy Hook backlash, is Ronda Rousey finally getting the respect she deserves?

Ronda Rousey has been spreading the news of her new graphic novel ‘Expecting The Unexpected’ tirelessly on social media. This is indeed her debut book in the realm of graphic novels. But little did she know that one of her mistakes from about 111 years ago would come to haunt her.

Rousey took to Instagram and announced that she would be answering some questions on Reddit and talking about the new graphic novel. She posted a picture of herself holding a sheet of paper that read, “r/squaredcircle AMA!” In the captions, the former UFC champion wrote, “I’m gunna be jumping on @reddit to talk my debut graphic novel #ExpectingTheUnexpected and it’s pro wrestling inspired fight scenes at 9:30am PST! Check the link in my bio to back the project – see you guys there.”

However, things didn’t go as she expected. The fight fans quickly reflected on the controversy surrounding the former UFC contender and the Sandy Hook Massacre. On the 23rd of August, ‘Rowdy’ sent forth an apology letter for sharing a controversial video about the Sandy Hook massacre on social media. Even though she quickly deleted the video, the WWE star didn’t fail to apologize for her mistake. But she was 11 years late.
