Rolex-Donning Jon Jones Responds to a Conor McGregor Fan Who Called Him a “Number 2” Behind “The Notorious”

It is a popular belief the fans believe that the fighters at UFC do not get paid enough. However, looking at the fighters perched at the top might give a different perspective. Fighters like Conor McGregor have garnered wealth that a common man can only dream of. Furthermore, ‘The Notorious’ is also infamous for his collection of wristwatches. However, Jon Jones doesn’t seem to be far behind.

Recently, the UFC heavyweight champion decided to get himself a brand new Rolex. He shared the video of the purchase on Instagram and revealed how happy he was. However, a fan of the ‘Mystic Man’ reminded him that his new Rolex was only second to that of McGregor. Nevertheless, ‘Bones’ sent a reply to the fan in good humor.

‘Bones’ recently shared a video on Instagram where he seemingly purchased a Rolex 88. The salesman revealed the features of the watch. Without a doubt, the watch impressed the former light heavyweight champion. Jones said that it was the watch he could see himself walking out with. Furthermore, he believed that the watch was speaking to him from the moment the box was opened.

However, a fan took to the comments section and wrote, “Number 2 Rolyyyy.” Jones was quick to notice that the fan was comparing his watch with that of the Irish warrior. Doubtlessly, the fighter took the comment as a joke and sent a reply. He wrote, “definitely compared to Conner haha.”

Although the former UFC double champion has always flashed his possessions on social media platforms, Jones has seldom shared such posts. Apparently, Jones knew that he cannot come at the level of the fighter whose net worth lies around $200 million dollars. 

‘The Notorious’ publicly flexes his Rolex

The Dubliner has never missed a chance to show off his valuable possessions. From cars to watches, McGregor seems to have a wish for nothing but the best of the best. Unquestionably, his attraction for Rolex is completely natural. Previously, in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the Irish fighter declared that money was “only paper” for him. 

Back in December 2022, McGregor showed off his Rolex Day-Date 228396TBR. The watch came in a platinum setting with forty baguette-cut diamonds bezel. Furthermore, it is considered to be one of the rarest watches. The price for the watch was a whopping $125,700.
