UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan is known for his polarizing views on Donald Trump and the Republican Party, which occasionally take stances that intrigue the public. This has led many to speculate when Trump will appear on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. Fans are eager to see the chemistry between the two, as they’ve been spotted together multiple times at UFC events. However, a twist in the story has emerged, with rumors suggesting that renowned scientist and podcaster Lex Fridman might interview Trump on his show instead.
Recently, a clip from the Lex Fridman podcast featuring Elon Musk went viral. In the clip, Fridman revealed to Musk, “Since I’m interviewing Trump, you wanna stop by?” to which Musk responded affirmatively. Fridman’s podcast is recognized for its deep dives into topics like artificial intelligence, science, and philosophy, while Joe Rogan covers a wide range of subjects on his podcast, including controversial figures. Rogan’s casual approach appeals to a broader audience.
Meanwhile, Joe Rogan has been in the news after hosting presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his podcast, where Rogan declared himself a fan of Kennedy and praised him. This upset Donald Trump, who took to social media to bask Rogan, prompting Trump supporters to do the same. Now, Rogan has backtracked, revealing on his social media platform X, that he did not endorse Kennedy.

“For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world,” Rogan posted on X.
🚨It still blows our mind that Lex Fridman is going to get the Donald Trump interview before Joe Rogan. Rogan blew it. pic.twitter.com/ZPsm0wsyY2

Amidst the ongoing back-and-forth between Joe Rogan and Donald Trump, a recent post by Autism Capital on social media ignited fan curiosity. Many wondered why Rogan, known for hosting high-profile guests, hadn’t invited Trump onto his podcast. However, in 2022, Rogan clarified that he had no intention of interviewing Trump on his podcast.
“I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I’ve said no every time. I don’t wanna help him. I’m not interested in helping him,” the UFC commentator said on Lex Fridman’s podcast.

Fans don’t seem overall happy about losing Donald Trump to Lex Fridman, who fired a shot at Joe Rogan in the post’s comment box. A fan called out Rogan for labeling himself a moderate who is lacking in taking a strong stance to avoid conflict. They commented, “Rogan pu**ed out trying to be moderate.” The fan might not be wrong as in the past Rogan has faced cancel culture and backlash and now he is more careful about what he speaks. Another fan brought up the old matter with Spotify in the comment, saying, “Rogan knew Spotify probably wouldn’t have liked it,” highlighting past incidents like Joe Rogan’s issue with Spotify for spreading misinformation on the COVID-19 situation.
Meanwhile, a fan criticized Rogan for making excuses about not interviewing Trump, commenting, “He always gave a cope out the answer of “well… I would need 2-3 hours just to work him…”” Another frustrated social media user joined the chorus, simply asking for an interview, nothing more. In contrast, a fan expressed a preference for Fridman interviewing Trump, believing Rogan might reconsider after seeing Trump’s more reflective side compared to media portrayals.
They commented, “Rogan said over and over again that he didn’t want to. Maybe he would now that he’s seen Trump is more reflexive than everyone thought based on media reporting during the past two election cycles. Lex is a better interviewer anyway, so this is a good thing IMO.”

However, there is also a fan who gave a very odd explanation behind Donald Trump’s absence from the Joe Rogan podcast. The fan commented, “Rogan said he would have had him on the podcast but Trump wanted him to go to Trump’s house, that’s not a ‘Joe Rogan Experience'” This comment seems to be true as Trump hasn’t appeared much on podcasts. His last podcast with Logan Paul, which was also taken from Trump’s residence, could also be the issue why Joe Rogan and Trump still haven’t collaborated.
One fan, clearly fed up with the ongoing debate, asked Rogan, “Bro it’s an interview just do it.” What’s your take on the situation between Donald Trump and Joe Rogan? Do you think Rogan should invite Trump to his podcast and give the fans what they want? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
