Former POTUS Donald Trump’s indictment has been all over the news headlines. This is the billionaire’s second indictment, which was announced on Aug 1. What’s more – one of Trump’s ardent supporters, an old man from Arizona who religiously participated in the Capitol riot on January 6, has been accused of being an FBI infiltrator. Surprisingly, the 61-year-old Ray Epps was later dismissed from the charges. But by then, JRE host Joe Rogan had already repeated the allegations multiple times. Now, Epps is thinking about pressing charges against the UFC commentator. Would you believe that?

But why is Rogan silent about all of this? Although he has refused to get Trump on his JRE podcast, he recently claimed that it would be interesting to hear his perspective. Aren’t he and the billionaire old pals? Well, even if he’s staying away from the limelight at the moment, he just became the subject of an intriguing conversation. Stephen A. Smith – the veteran NBA analyst and sports journalist, has made some bold statements on the UFC commentator’s knowledge about Epps’ involvement.

In a recent episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show on YouTube, Stephen A. Smith dissected Rogan’s perspective and its implications. The NBA analyst shared Rogan’s apparent stance on the situation, stating,

“Joe Rogan apparently is somebody that believes it’s all smoke and mirrors.”

The journalist elaborated on the belief held by some that the events surrounding the 2020 election are part of a larger manipulation effort. Smith highlighted that while this view might not align with his own, he recognizes Rogan’s right to express his opinions.

The NBA analyst admitted that while he may not agree with Rogan’s perspective on the events of January 6, the commentator’s audience and influence lend credibility to his words. “When you’ve built the audience that he’s built, there is a touch of credibility that comes with it,” Smith stated. He emphasized that silencing dissenting voices can amplify their impact and visibility.

What’s more – he also shed light on Rogan’s own uncertainty regarding the allegations surrounding Ray Epps. “Even Joe Rogan himself asserted he still doesn’t know if Epps was actually working with the FBI,” Smith highlighted.

The 55-year-old analyst underscored that while Rogan may express his beliefs, he has not categorically claimed them as facts. The dynamic between belief and fact remained a focal point of Smith’s analysis.
