UFC 275 marked the promotion’s first step in South East Asia as a numbered PPV. Thus, they put many iconic matchups on the card. A ‘Fight of the Year’ classic between Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk had a part two in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The contest had future title bout implications as well. Thus, the big rematch saw Conor McGregor reacting and making his pick just before the bout.

Conor McGregor backed the women’s strawweight GOAT, Joanna Jedrzejczyk to get the nod over the first-ever Chinese UFC champion, Zhang Weili.

The strawweight bout at UFC 275 is as close as it could get. The first bout saw both fighters throw down for 25-minute, taking no breaks. Thus, the bout was an all-time classic regardless of weight, gender, or even the sport. It was one of the greatest combat sports bouts of all time.

At UFC 248, China’s biggest combat star, ‘Magnum’ defended her strawweight championship against the Polish athlete. Jedrzejczyk, on the other hand, was looking to regain the title she defended the most time in the division’s history.

Both fighters fought like everything was up at stake for the winner. They went blow-for-blow for five rounds.

All the rounds were extremely competitive, and none of the fighters got any significant edge at any point. However, the Black Tiger Fight Club fighter’s shots appeared to do more damage to the Polish fighter’s face.

Weili had success in the pocket. Nonetheless, Jedrzejczyk showed her striking prowess whenever the two had some distance between them.
