Many people are eagerly awaiting news about Conor McGregor‘s return to the UFC, but the organization has not yet made any official announcements. However, as fans were anticipating the 35-year-old’s return inside the cage, they were instead met by the movie trailer of ‘Road House’, which featured the former UFC double champ.
Given that the announcements for his Hollywood debut have reached the fans sooner than his anticipated return inside the octagon, some fans have made their own theories as to when the ‘Mystic Mac’ would make his return. An MMA fan had quite an interesting take but was shut down by former UFC champion, Michael Bisping.

In a recent episode of the ‘Believe You Me’ Podcast, a fan had a question for the former UFC champ, asking him if the UFC is waiting to announce Conor McGregor’s return after the release of the movie he features in as a marketing ploy to gain more PPV sales.
The retired fighter gave his take on the fan’s question. He replied, saying that he didn’t think that the UFC not announcing McGregor’s return had anything to do with the PPV sales.
“Conor is already a gigantic superstar when it comes to the sport of mixed martial arts. And from pay-per-view one to ten, his name’s in most of them,” said Bisping, reminding people of McGregor being the highest-selling PPV fighter for the UFC.
Bisping concluded by saying, “So I don’t think the UFC is waiting for that. But it will be interesting to see when they do announce his fight still. I’m looking forward to it.”
It does seem like the former UFC double champ will fight inside the Octagon only after he makes his Hollywood debut. But what role will ‘Mystic Mac’ play in the new movie?
