UFC Fight Night Vegas 70 offered one of the most interesting matchups on the main card. Fighters from the women’s flyweight division faced off each other in an anticipated bout. Tatiana Suarez took on Montana De La Rosa in what was her first match since 2019. With an undefeated record of 8-0, Suarez was looking to secure a win ahead of the Fight Night matchup.

The fight started in the trademark Tatiana Suarez manner as the undefeated fighter tried to take De La Rosa to the ground. Furthermore, she was successful in taking down De La Rosa to the floor, but not for long as she got back to her feet. However, Suarez seemed to have won the round, as she had more control.
In the second round, Suarez was able to take down the 28-year-old in the first minute. Suarez looked dominating in the second too, as she got the better of the grappling skills between the two. She gave up her back position to shoot for a guillotine choke and secured a submission win over Montana De La Rosa.
During the post-fight interview, Suarez was emotional and delighted with a win. An inspiration for MMA fighters, Suarez set an example as she secured a dominant win after overcoming adversities. Fans expressed their delight in seeing the star achieving a long-awaited victory.
