O’Malley was recently in the news after Conor McGregor’s deleted tweet on X. The Dubliner accused the champion of taking Ostarine and it seems the 34-year-old also agrees to it. In his latest interview, he said, “Well, I think he popped twice for it like years ago. But then everyone says the same thing, oh is the over counter supplement thing. And I feel like we know which third party tested or not and we know what things are sketchy and what things you should and shouldn’t take.”

Further adding to the speculations Sterling also pointed out how most athletes are aware of what they are doing. O’Malley was accused in 2018-19 of taking the banned substance Ostarine once in his career. However, it seems that Sterling feels he did it more than once. He said, “ Maybe you do know that there are some possibilities that there’s some good stuff that can enhance your game if you take this and then you can blame it on I don’t know it was just some over the counter thing. I only take third party tested supplements you know. The UFC provides it for free. From what I know it’s twice. I do know for sure it was once and I think one of his teammates also got popped for it so it’s just like hold up.”

The entire controversy stirred up after ‘Mystic Mac’ took a dig at ‘Suga’. McGregor challenged both Ryan Garcia and Sean O’Malley for a sparring session after the pair were accused of using Ostarine. But why exactly is the dual champion dragging ‘Suga’ into this? Daniel Cormier has the answer for you.

Daniel Cormier points out the real reason behind McGregor’s latest tweet for O’Malley

Current bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley has always been a fan of Conor McGregor. He has termed him as an idol in some of his interviews. However, the Dubliners’ latest tweet has not gone well with the 29-year-old. In one of his recent interviews with Bradley Martin, O’Malley seemed a bit confused and hurt by the recent tweet. Daniel Cormier recently appeared at the ‘Funky and the Champ’ show. While speaking to Ben Askren Cormier shared his opinion on the latest beef and felt jealousy was the reason behind it. He said, “Is that why Conor is doing it though, because he can see that this young man (Sean O’Malley) is following in his footsteps and he is becoming such a great star?”

The 45-year-old further added, “Because they say that imitation is the greatest compliment you could receive, but when you are the biggest star, you see somebody coming up behind you; you might go, ‘I don’t like this guy.’
