Conor McGregor is set to return to the Octagon after staying away for more than two years. “The Notorious” has been posting training videos lately and seems in sublime physical condition. However, much to the despair of the former champion, there is still no official date for his return.
McGregor recently took to his Twitter account to share his despair and even hinted at getting frustrated. Be that as it may, after reading the post, fans also had plenty to add.

Conor McGregor was last seen inside the Octagon at UFC 264, where he took on Dustin Poirier. The fight ended with McGregor losing and breaking his ankle. Since then, the former two-division champion has yet to return to the Octagon. Reports suggested that McGregor might make a return at UFC 300. However, no official announcement has been made till now.
The Irish recently took to his Twitter to share his feelings and even hinted at a delayed response from the UFC. Fans too did not take too kindly on the update.

Initially, McGregor was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler on his return to the Octagon. However, till now there have been no opponents fixed and the fans are waiting for the official announcement.
A recent leak also hinted that McGregor might also face Dustin Poirier for a possible rematch of UFC 264. Another fighter in line to headline the fight against “The Notorious” is Nate Diaz, with whom the Irish fighter has had many battles inside the Octagon. While there are many speculations round the corner, it will be interesting to see whether the 35-year-old features at UFC 300.

It will be interesting to see whether McGregor is the same fighter which he was during a few years back. Recently, the former two-division champ also called out boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao for a fight. Frustrated with the delay in return to the Octagon , McGregor now wants to take on Pacquiao. However, the boxing legend is yet to respond to the callout.
