Joe Rogan has swooped in again with an announcement! The podcaster is up for not just any regular set of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ but a whole new episode of JRE Fight Companion. It will involve exchanges about the upcoming UFC Fight Night, featuring Robert Whittaker versus Ikram Aliskerov in the main event, which will commence at Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, on June 22, 2024.

But that’s not all! The lineup consists of Rogan himself, Brian Simpson, Bryan ‘The Kid’ Callen, and the former UFC mixed martial artist, Brendan Schaub. This roster was recently revealed by the team on social media, with a poster for the podcast. Without a doubt, the poster attracted quite a bit of attention from the fight fans. It showed the four men wearing what seemed like khaki uniforms, standing in front of a massive truck. To add to the fans’ enhanced entropy, the post was backed by Nas’ ‘Get Down’ song.

JRE Fight Companion is nothing but a tradition that the beloved UFC color commentator and JRE host follows, where he sits down together with his friends and watches live events. Needless to say, Fight Companion is one of the broadcasts that the fans eagerly wait for. Regardless, it might not be the same this time.

As soon as the JRE Fight Companion for UFC Saudi Arabia was announced on Instagram, the fight fans took to the comments section and revealed what they thought about it. Although some fans were pretty excited for the podcast, others wanted the old boys back. Let’s see what the fans had to say.

Fans open up as Joe Rogan announces JRE Fight Companion

Previously, Fight Companion featured the hilarious Joey Diaz and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert, Eddie Bravo, alongside the 56-year-old podcaster and Schaub. But the exclusion of Diaz and Bravo was not something that the fight fans appreciated. “Can you replace Bryan with joey or eddie,” wrote one of the fans. Another fan asked the team if they can replace, both, Schaub and Callen, with Diaz and Bravo. “Damn can you replace Brendan and Bryan for somebody that funnier and great at grappling?”

One of the fans made the MMA world imagine a podcast with Alex Jones, Bravo, and Diaz, sitting beside Rogan and talking about the fights. “Imagine a podcast with Alex Jones, Eddie bravo and Joey Diaz 😂😂I can just imagine Joey’s face the whole time,” the fan wrote. Without a doubt, the entire world of mixed martial arts seemed to miss the BJJ expert. A fan asked, “Where is Eddie?” Meanwhile, another fan commented, “No Joey Diaz or Eddie Bravo🤐”

Some of the fans were also up to make bets. One fan proposed to bet on how many times Callen would interrupt someone. The comment read, “Can we take bets on how many times bapa interrupts someone?” Another fan wrote, “Can’t wait for the kid to talk about his fight knowledge!”

Nevertheless, the fighting community couldn’t hide the excitement for the JRE Fight Companion. One of the fans wrote, “Oh helllll yeah. The boys are back!” Another comment went like, “Hell yea! This is going to be dope.”
