While they have yet to face each other inside the Octagon, the feud between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall is heating up! Jones, the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion has been out of action with a torn pectoral tendon that forced him to withdraw from his UFC 295 bout against former champion, Stipe Miocic last year.

Jones has recently affirmed that he has recovered from his surgeries and is back in the gym to train for his return to the cage. But he has come under fire from Aspinall due to his decision to pursue the Miocic fight instead of a unification bout against the interim heavyweight champion. And in a recent interview, Aspinall fired another cheeky jab at ‘Bones’ for his antics on social media, which also got Stipe Miocic caught in the cross-fire.

In his recent appearance on the Jaxxon Podcast, Stipe Miocic revealed that the UFC is looking to set up a clash between him and Jon Jones with a possible date in November in New York. This aligned with Jon Jones’s post on X where he had stated, “I am not changing my plans for anyone. Stipe is over there as the best heavyweight ever working his a** off. I’m gonna give that man what he wants…”

However, Tom Aspinall isn’t as pleased with the developments leading to UFC CEO Dana White announcing an interim title clash between him and Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 on July 27. Aspinall responded by stating, “Usually, when the champ is coming back, the interim [champion] would obviously fight the champ, Jon Jones is holding sh*t up, let’s be honest. He’s playing games.”

And in an interview with The Mac Life, Aspinall also shared a hilarious interaction he had with a fan and fired a salvo at Jones and Miocic. The interim heavyweight champion stated, “Yesterday I was in a petrol station. This guy came over and he went, ‘Hey Tom, what about Jon saying all this on Twitter?’ I went, ‘Oh, I don’t know mate, I’m not on it. I don’t see any of it.”

Jon Jones will 100% go on a Twitter bender because of this clip.

The fan claimed that Jones had come out as gay on the platform, a revelation that left Aspinall bewildered and reaffirmed his decision to stay off social media. But when the interviewer inquired if despite his social media avoidance Aspinall is subscribed to Stipe Miocic’s OnlyFans, Aspinall responded by stating, “The d*ck pics on there, maybe Jon’s subscribed to it.”

As Jones recovers and prepares for his return, the tension builds, with Aspinall’s humorous jabs and pointed criticisms keeping fans entertained. But ‘Bones’ isn’t one to stay quiet as he has also fired back on social media!
