Jon Jones didn’t want Alex Pereira to lure out his secrets

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones is arguably one of the greatest fighters to ever grace the UFC Octagon. But, the fact unknown to many is that ‘Bones’ learned some of his major skills by watching sparring videos itself. Hence, it is understandable that Jones didn’t want Pereira’s probable roadmap for the bout to be traced out by Adesanya.

‘The Last Stylebender’ was asked about this in a couple of interviews. In the first interview uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘Jeff Sainlar Visuals’, the questioner wanted to know Adesanya’s views about Jones advising Pereira.

‘The Last Stylebender’ nonchalantly replied, “I don’t care. But if it’s true, he knows why?”

Israel Adesanya revealed that Jon Jones absorbed a lot from just videos

In another interview, the interviewer stated, “Jon Jones told Alex Pereira not to probably give his training out”. Adesanya exclaimed, “Oh, really?”. Adesanya went on, “Interesting. I wonder why would he’d say that”

Adesanya also revealed his knowledge about Jones. He stated, “He’d learned watching his trainer’s interviews”

Jon Jones was always known to be a thoroughly competitive persona. It can be figured out that he doesn’t want to provide his opponents even with an inch of advantage. Many times, sparring videos may contain the moves that a fighter is planning to execute in a fight.
