It is easy to see why heavyweight boxing has been the most popular in all of combat sports. When heavyweights get in a ring, anything can happen. The size and power they have means it takes only one good punch to floor their opponent. And that was proven yet again in the bout between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou.

In a shocking turn of events, Ngannou, fighting in his first pro boxing match, knocked down the boxing champion in the third round and lost a controversial split decision by one point to ‘The Gypsy King’. And Joe Rogan, in conversation with Elon Musk, was outraged at one of the judges and had very strong words for him.

Rogan explained to Musk that Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion went into the 10-round bout without any boxing experience against the boxing champion Tyson Fury. Despite this, he put on an excellent showing. The UFC commentator felt that ‘The Predator’ won the fight.

“Tyson Fury, who’s the lineal heavyweight champion. Francis Ngannou… knocked down Tyson Fury in the third round. Beat him up in the eighth round. Most people, including me, thought he should’ve won the decision,” Rogan told Musk.

He explained to Musk that one judge scored it 95-94 in Ngannou’s favour, the second 95-95 for Fury, and the third judge scored it 96-93 for Fury. The latter score infuriated Rogan, who felt that the judge should go to jail over it.

“He lost by one point on one judge’s scorecard. He won on one judge’s scorecard, and another judge, who should go to jail, had it 96-93 for Tyson Fury, which is f***ing outrageous,” he added.
