“I understand that. But it’s also off of their judgment. I’m not gonna to do this back and forth. I’ll go call a supervisor. You can either take a different seat or we can go ahead and escort you off the plane,” the flight officials told Khabib Nurmagomedov when he tried to point out that the authorities at the check-in cleared him on the language issue. But the flight attendant’s stern stance that led to Nurmagomedov’s removal from the airline raised quite some questions. What was the basis of her action? Well, it seems like Javier Mendez has an answer to that.
Taking to his YouTube channel, the AKA coach revealed, “Racial profiling at its highest point. You see how nice he’s becoming, he’s not being controversial or anything. They are screwed [the airline].” Mendez has oftentimes stood in support of the former undefeated UFC lightweight champion. This time, his support was mixed with a sense of agitation.
Even ‘The Eagle’ had his doubts about the reason. In a statement he later released on social media, Nurmagomedov wrote, “Even though I speak very decent English and can understand everything, and agreed to assist, she still insisted on removing me from my seat. What was the basis for that—racial, national, or another reason—I’m not sure.” Nevertheless, he got himself another flight to San Francisco from Vegas. But he had one thing to say to the airline. “Those crew members could do better next time and just be nice to clients.”

The AKA coach’s feelings were shared by many others. Although not everyone thought of it as a racist act, Daniel Cormier, Belal Muhammad, and many others pointed out that it wasn’t a good decision by Frontier Airlines. Let’s see what they had to say.

Daniel Cormier and Belal Muhammad react to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s humiliation
When DC came across the video of Nurmagomedov getting escorted out of the plane, he was stuck by surprise like most of us. The UFC commentator and analyst has often conversed with the Dagestani coach and language was never really an issue. After all, Nurmagomedov spoke decent English. On @happypunch’s IG post, Cormier had nothing to say, except “That’s really bad.”
‘Remember The Name’ had similar feelings. But the welterweight champion, being a close friend of the Dagestani team, knew the true strength of Nurmagomedov. Taking to X, the Palestinian champion wrote, “He could’ve threw everyone off the plane and flew it himself if he wanted.” But all ‘The Eagle’ showed was a calm demeanor.
