Conor McGregor just can’t seem to get out of controversies. The fighter often makes it to the headlines and most of the time, it is for all the wrong reasons.
The Notorious was detained over allegations related to sexual assault. This happened while ‘The Mystic Mac’ was on a vacation in France with his family.

McGregor’s vacation came to an abrupt halt after he was taken into Public custody in contention with attempted sexual assault and indecent exposure. The interrogation took place in Corsica, France.

McGregor denied all the allegations, and no charges were pressed against him. Emmanuelle Ramon, his lawyer, called the complaint “Abusive”. However, the local authorities believe otherwise.

The prosecutor said, “Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor was the subject of a hearing by the gendarmerie services.”
“I am irate and putting out a warning loud and clear: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those seeking to score a headline or a payday.” McGregor’s manager, Audie Attar said, reflecting on the entire incident.
A spokesperson said that the former UFC champ was detained and released after he declined all the claims against him.

The Irishman later took to Twitter to post pictures of himself and his family on a Yacht. He’d also stated in the Twitter post that USADA had come to test him while he was on a holiday.

The double champ, who claimed to have retired, still allowed the authorities to test him. He says in the tweet, “It’s all natural here baby!”

McGregor was on a vacation in France with his partner Dee Devlin and their two children. He proposed to Devlin during this vacation. The pair posted a picture on Instagram of them smiling as Devlin wore a huge diamond engagement ring on her finger.
“What a birthday, my future wife!” The post said. Mcgregor uploaded it just a month after his 32nd birthday on July 14th.
