Tony Ferguson is called ‘The Boogeyman’ for a reason. Besides being a terrifying fighter to be in the ring with, Ferguson is also extremely technical and doesn’t hold back when it comes to decimating his opponents in the cage. His last fight was against Bobby Green, who he lost to at UFC 291. Now, months removed from that setback, Ferguson has another exciting matchup on his hands.
On one hand, Ferguson is riding a 6-loss streak- a steep fall from his 12-fight unbeaten run till 2020. On the other hand, his opponent, the young UFC prodigy, Paddy Pimblett is on the rise. He has been on 4 fight cards since his debut in the UFC back in 2021 and has won all four of them. The two generations are all set to collide at UFC 296 and the fans have clearly picked their side.
