People recognize a few notable names in MMA for their use of boxing skills inside the octagon. The Diaz brothers, Nick Diaz, and Nate Diaz, certainly fit that description. The former is one of the earliest fighters who has showcased the use of boxing techniques in MMA. However, the UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira recently shared a video on social media where he was displaying his boxing skills. But Nick Diaz didn’t seem too impressed.
Diaz is well acquainted with the knowledge of boxing. He even had sparring sessions with former boxing world champion Andre Ward. Alex Pereira is also known for his great striking abilities. The former kickboxer shared a video of hitting the punch mitts during a training session. Moreover, Nick Diaz shared a few words after he came across that video footage. He shared a story of the Brazilian showcasing his boxing skills. However, Diaz felt as if something was missing. He wrote, “I don’t see it.”

The older Diaz brother’s thoughts didn’t sit well with UFC fans. After all, Pereira is the middleweight champion. Thus, people shared their thoughts about Diaz’s comment.

Diaz has had a pretty chaotic MMA career, from entertaining antics inside and outside the octagon to getting a 5-year suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. However, that has never created any doubt in his fighting ability. Diaz hasn’t been active in MMA for over a year and a half and his hardcore fans await his return.
