Jackson faced ‘Bones’ at UFC 135, back when the champ was still competing in the light heavyweight division. Although Jones defeated ‘Rampage’ with a rear-naked choke in the fourth round and claimed the LHW belt, he was bombarded with allegations of deploying spies in his opponents’ camps. Years later, Jackson revisited the topic as he had a conversation with Miocic, Jones’ next opponent.

Jackson warned ‘The Silencer’ that the HW champ was keeping an eye on him with the help of a spy in the camp. He said, “I bet you Jon Jones had somebody in your camp. I guarantee you, he’s watching you. He watched me in my camp. I was training at the MusclePharm, in Colorado. So you didn’t know everybody there. There was some people that was working there. And I guess they were cool with Jon.”

That’s the only way I found out,” said the former fighter. He then revealed that the fight at UFC 135 was, in fact, one of the most important fights for him. While there was a lot of stuff going on during the preparations for the fight, ‘Rampage’ was truly disappointed with all the spying. Nevertheless, his message to Miocic was crystal clear, “I was just talking sh*t, but he did have a spy on my camp.”
