Reports have come out that major retailers all across the United Kingdom and Ireland have been ordered by their head offices to stop selling any alcoholic drink associated with Conor McGregor. Some of the big names that have raised such circulars across the country are Tesco, Supervalu, SPAR, Centra, and Costcutter. In a statement released by Musgrave, they added that aim to sever every tie with McGregor. “Musgrave can confirm these products are no longer available to our store network,” read the statement. For those who don’t know, Musgrave is the parent company for SuperValu, Centra, Daybreak, and Mace.
Conor McGregor and some of his business partners sold a massive stake in the Proper 12 whiskey to Proximo Spirits in 2021 for around $600 million. According to the reports, he amassed more than $126.5 million from the sale. Regardless, the Irishman remained the ambassador for the product as he endorsed the product day and night. However, it appears that the decision has now backfired on him.

In addition to this, Hitman: Wo͏r͏͏l͏d͏͏ of Ass͏as͏͏sination makers have asserted that they would remove every content related to Conor McGregor from their game following the assault incident, “In light of the recent court ruling regarding Conor McGregor, IO Interactive has made the decision to cease its collaboration with the athlete, effective immediately. We take this matter very seriously and cannot ignore its implications. Consequently, we will begin removing all content featuring Mr. McGregor from our storefronts starting today,” wrote the official representative of IO.
