There is no doubt that Jon Jones is one of the greatest fighters in the sport of MMA. He has been an absolute force at the UFC and has put up some insane performances. the fighter has battered the life out of almost every fighter he’s faced in the octagon. At 34 years of age, Jones doesn’t plan to be slowing down anytime soon. As of December 2021, Jones stands sixth in the UFC men’s pound for pound rankings.
‘Bones’ holds a current professional fight record of 26 wins and only one loss. His excellent record only adds to his case as one of the greatest fighters. Jones also holds many records in the UFC. Some of which include the Longest Light Heavyweight champion reign and consecutive wins in the UFC light heavyweight division.
However, because of his constant controversies and legal troubles, Jon doesn’t get the credit he deserves. After his recent controversy in Las Vegas, the UFC has sidelined Jones from fighting.

Jon Jones recently appeared in an interview with Van Tate’s Sports Office and shared his thoughts on what is next in line for him. The fighter hinted at a return next year.
He said, “as far as fighting, I feel like I’m in tremendous shape. I’m excited to still be representing Albuquerque, New Mexico. I just recently joined with a team called ‘Fight Ready’, out of Arizona. So I’ll be representing both teams moving forward.”
His former MMA Club, The Jackson Wink MMA Academy, kicked Jones out after his incident in Las Vegas.
In his interview, he said, “I’m looking to fight somewhere in April. Possibly Madison square garden. Or total opposite date, possibly July, international fight week. those are the Two dates I’m kinda eyeing. Depends on who wins in January between Francis Ngannou and Cyril Gane, and we’ll just take it from there.“
What’s next for Jon Jones?

Jones will make his heavyweight debut on his return. The fighter has fought as a Light Heavyweight all his life and also won all his fights in that division.
Even though Jon Jones claims to return to UFC action to fight the winner of Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane, the UFC has given no official statement for it.
