Volkanovski joined interviewer Megan Olivi to talk about his trilogy fight against Holloway. Olivi started off the interview, asking Volkanovski if he broke his hand mid-fight. Volkanovski responded, “Oh well, we don’t know, but I know, yeah. So yeah, I hurt it. I think (in) the second round; I knew it was broken. But it was alright.”
He continued, “It was a thumb, so I could still use the knuckles. So I was able to still use the hands. So it was all good, went well.” Olivi mentioned how this injury didn’t affect his performance in the ring. Volkanovski agreed and added, “Poker face. Good poker face.”
