The fighters, with their “bring it on, anywhere, anytime” mindset, embrace challenges that would make others quiver. Among these giants stands Kevin Holland, a product of Dana White’s Contender Series, a name that resonates with fearlessness.

The fighter has once again put his name forward to another potential short-notice fight. Geoff Neal, who was scheduled to fight Ian Garry, the guy touted as the next Conor McGregor, next weekend at UFC 292, has withdrawn from the bout due to undisclosed health issues.

As soon as the news went viral, fans started to speculate what would happen next. Whether someone would accept a short-notice fight against Ian ‘Machado’ Garry, or if he would have to wait for his big step up in the UFC welterweight division.

Answering the fans’ speculations, Kevin Holland has shared a video, and in his confident yet casual tone, said,

“It’s pretty late in the week to let me know if somebody pulled out of fight, specially when the fight’s like really comin up…but, I mean, at catchweight.”

Fans adored his nonchalant bravado, which displayed his readiness to confront any obstacle. They reacted with admiration and excitement for Kevin Holland’s fearless attitude and the potential of his upcoming fight.

A fan called Kevin Holland ‘the most gangster fighter since the Diaz brothers retired’ and said the fighter has got that ‘anytime, anywhere, anyone’ mentality.

Kevin Holland is the ‘real bmf’

Another fan shared two potential opponents apart from Kevin Holland, Neil Magny, and Stephen Thompson, acknowledging any of these three fighters could be a suitable choice for Ian Garry.

A fan called this Holland’s golden opportunity to elevate his name and move up those welterweight rankings, while adding catchweight might not have much significance, though.

Here are some fan reactions:

“Holland is the most gangster fighter since the Diaz brothers retired. Anytime, anywhere, anyone mentality. Lives by the sword, and dies by it.”

“That would be a great fight! Gotta love Kevin, always stepping up on short notice”

“This is Holland’s chance to make a bigger name for himself and jump up a bit in the WW rankings. A catchweight doesn’t do much for either fighter. Please make this happen at 170”

Ian ‘Machado’ Garry is an undefeated welterweight prospect, with a perfect 5-0 UFC, and 12-0 MMA record. The Irishman recently secured a first-round TKO victory over Daniel Rodriguez. He plans to stay on the UFC 292 card and has hinted at Neil Magny as a potential replacement opponent.
