UFC 283 saw an absolute battle ensue between Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill. Hill took an early lead that he maintained throughout the fight. The constant jabs troubled Teixeira, but the real damage was done by the head kicks that Teixeira had to take. To Glover Teixeira’s credit, he didn’t let Jamahal Hill get away with a knock-out or submit him. The 43-year-old took a lot of damage from Hill but survived the length of the fight. Teixeira was bleeding profusely with a big cut on his right eyebrow, but he kept going on and Hill had to earn his belt with everything he had in his gas tank.

Born in October 1979, Teixeira was also a member of the Brazilian Wrestling team. He also displayed his fighting Prowess in WEC, Impact FC, and PFC. The fighter displayed a dominant performance and never gave Teixeira a chance to gain any momentum. Hill kept using combo punches while moving quickly around Teixeira. He kept his opponent guessing by mixing his punches with hard-hitting kicks to his temple. There were many moments when it seemed Hill would finish the fight, but the veteran fighter hung in. He might have even been saved by the bell in the second and the third rounds.
