Jon Jones‘ return to the UFC has been eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide. His move to the heavyweight division has added even more excitement to the mix. Many were hoping that his first fight back would be against the former heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, but unfortunately, contractual issues got in Ngannou’s way.
Jones is now going to fight the #1 contender in the heavyweight division, Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight title. Despite the fact that Jones and Ngannou are not going to face each other in the octagon anytime soon, the two did have a few exchanges on Twitter.
