How do Jan Blachowicz and Carlos Ulberg look against each other?
Ulberg has been climbing the light heavyweight rankings with phenomenal velocity. Currently ruling the #6 position in the light heavyweight rankings, ‘Black Jag’ is coming up with 11 wins and 1 defeat in his professional MMA record. He is indeed a knockout artist, with 7 of his wins coming from KO/TKO. In his last UFC bout, he established himself against Volkan Oezdemir and won via unanimous decision. Representing City Kickboxing in New Zealand, Ulberg will step into UFC London with a 7-fight win streak He has a striking accuracy of 56% and lands 7.20 significant strikes per minute.
On the other hand, Jan Blachowicz stands at the 3rd spot in the LHW rankings. ‘John’ is well-known for his legendary Polish power, which helped him secure 29 wins in the professional MMA realm. Out of these, he won 9 fights via KO/TKO and another 9 by submissions. However, he is 41 years old, making him 7 years older than his next opponent. Needless to say, this is a concerning factor. But we can’t deny his victories over Israel Adesanya, Dominick Reyes, and Aleksandar Rakic. He even gave Alex Pereira a tough fight at UFC 291. However, the bout went in favor of ‘Poatan’ by a split decision.
Weighing in on the aforementioned analysis, AI claimed, “Ulberg’s striking proficiency and recent success against high-level opponents demonstrate his rapid development. His ability to maintain distance and utilize his reach could pose challenges for Błachowicz.” No doubt, Blachowicz might face some problems because of his inactivity and the recent shoulder injury.

What did the AI predict regarding Blachowicz vs. Ulberg at UFC London?
With the strengths and weaknesses of Blachowicz and Ulberg in consideration, AI came to a conclusion that favored the Kiwi light heavyweight contender. ChatGPT’s response read, “Considering Ulberg’s current form and Błachowicz’s layoff, Ulberg may have the advantage in striking exchanges and cardio. If he can avoid Błachowicz’s power shots and dictate the pace, a decision victory for Ulberg seems plausible. Final call: Carlos Ulberg to win by unanimous decision.”
‘Black Jag’s speed and technical striking will play a huge role when the fighters are on their feet. His agility and footwork will help him get in and out, frustrating ‘John’. On top of that, Ulberg has better cardio as compared to Blachowicz, who is arguably past his prime. At the age of 41, it’s pretty difficult to catch up to a younger fighter. But Blachowicz does have the experience he needs. Ulberg hasn’t fought enough elite wrestlers. And that’s the factor that might help Jan win the bout. Hence, AI claimed, “If Jan lands a big shot or secures takedowns, he could turn the fight in his favor.”
