Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg posted a video on his Instagram account on July 4 showcasing his surfing skills. As the USA celebrated its 248th founding anniversary, 37-year-old Zuckerberg could be seen wearing a tux while riding a surfboard and waving the American Flag.

The Meta CEO seems to be on holiday and enjoying his time with picturesque mountains in the background. His video has caught the attention of current heavyweight champion Jon Jones. ‘Bones’ and Zuckerberg share a cordial relationship between them and have become friends lately. Jon Jones praises Mark Zuckerberg after his recent surfing video

The Meta CEO became friends with Jon Jones when he started preparing for his clash with Elon Musk. However, the fight never materialized, but their bond only grew stronger over the years. Zuckerberg’s surfing video on Instagram received a thumbs-up from ‘Bones’ as well. Jones commented, “Yep, that’s our genius”. The video also provides a sneak peek into the current fitness status of the Meta CEO. Zuckerberg suffered from an ACL tear on November 3, 2023 while preparing for his MMA fight and the video shows his condition after surgery.

The 37-year-old’s look has also caught the attention of most out there. Instead of his usual basic shirt and hoodie, Zuckerberg this time around surprised everyone with his stylish avatar. It is not confirmed, but it seems he is wearing Meta RayBan glasses, one of his own innovations. This is not the first time that Zuckerberg has taken out time to wish on a special day. In 2021, he shared a similar video where he was hydro-foiling while holding an American flag in his hand.

A few months back Zuckerberg sent out a gift to the heavyweight champion. Jones was super excited to receive the gift and shared a special message for his friend-cum-student.

Zuckerberg and his company recently upgraded and launched an upgrade to Meta Quest 2. The Meta Quest 2 is a virtual reality headset that has been garnering all the hype. However, the Meta CEO surprised the heavyweight champion and handed him the Meta Quest 3. Jones was super excited to get the gift and took to his Instagram account to share a message for him. ‘Bones’ said, “Ha ha ha! Yeah! Finally, I got my hands on the Meta Quest 3 and the Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses that are so much more than sunglasses”. 

He then went on to add, “Mark Zuckerberg, you are the man. Absolute genius! I’m grateful to call you a personal friend. Thank you for the gift. Can’t wait for these bad boys to get unboxed.” With high quality 4K display, the Meta Quest 3 will definitely give the heavyweight champion a fine experience. While the fight with Elon Musk has been called off, it seems the friendship between the pair has only grown strong. From sharing gifts to hyping up each other on social media, the pair is helping each other in all ways.
