Elon Musk is in the thick of things yet again for his latest announcement. Musk announced that he would remove the blue ticks from legacy verified users. The legacy verified users would have to pay US$ 8 per month if they wish to have the blue ticks. However, the deadline for the removal as per Musk’s announcement was 1st April 2023, but this has not been reflected on the social media platform.
This has caused quite a stir on his social media platform. A UFC veteran has also spoken about the issue on Twitter. Fans of the controversial UFC veteran have responded with their opinion on the topic.

Jake Shields makes a controversial statement on Elon Musk’s Twitter Blue
The UFC veteran has spoken yet again about another trending topic on social media. The former UFC fighter is prone to be in controversies. Shields has taken to bash the famous CEO on his own platform. He replied to a tweet that criticized Twitter Blue which was started by Musk.
The tweet written by Matthew Yglesias read, “This is awful. Musk has now set this up such that a person might mistakenly believe I signed up for Twitter Blue. Is it possible to get myself de-verified so people won’t think this?”
Shields did not hold back while replying to Yglesias and trolling him and taking a jibe at Musk. He said, “This is so embarrassing that people might confuse us real celebrities with you peasants”.
