One such person includes the current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
At UFC 265, Gane dominated the ‘Black Beast’ for the entire fight. Lewis could land only 16 strikes out of 37 compared to Gane’s 98 strikes out of 122. ‘Bon Gamin’ was the one who was doing all the damage. As a result, he eventually claimed a third-round TKO victory.

This magnificent TKO victory made many believe that Gane is a dangerous heavyweight contender. And the current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya also shares the same belief.
In a recent video of his YouTube channel named ‘FREESTYLEBENDER’, Adesanya talked about Gane’s fighting game while watching the fight live.
‘The Last Stylebender’ said – “If I was gonna bet, I will bet my money on Gane. Cuz, if you have eyes for this game, you’ll know that this guy is (points towards his head) cerebral”.

Now that Gane is the UFC interim heavyweight champion, he will step inside the octagon against the current UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou soon for a title unification bout.

In the same video, Adesanya said – “I like that (x2) because I mean, you have seen Francis’ last fight. He doesn’t fight the way… Patient Francis is a thing now. Yeah, Francis is different now, and he is still the heavyweight champion”.
Ngannou vs. Gane will be one of the best champion vs. champion bouts of this decade. As a result, it excited the entire MMA community about this potential intriguing heavyweight clash.
