Recently, popular MMA reporter Ariel Helwani revealed this news on Twitter. According to him, Gore cannot fight at UFC 290 due to an undisclosed injury. Moreover, he also said that the UFC wants to keep Bo Nickal on the PPV card, and therefore the matchmakers are looking for a new opponent for him.

Further, Helwani also hinted that the announcement of Nickal’s new opponent may be made today itself.
