Recently, Strickland has been taking shots at Adesanya for his nationality. Apparently, ‘The Last Stylebender’ once publicly commented about being Chinese. This was back when he was fighting for a Chinese promotion early on in his career. However, this did not sit well with Strickland.

In his recent interview, Strickland chose to hammer down his future opponents regarding this. “I want to fight the Chinaman. Look like it’s happening. We’re about to sign some paperwork, about to make this sh*t,” Strickland said. “I mean the thing is it is hard for ‘Izzy’ to talk sh*t. He has renounced his country, his ethnicity. It’s very difficult for a man like that to talk sh*t but I wish him the best,” he added.
