The #7 ranked UFC welterweight contender, Jorge Masvidal, decided to start the Gamebred Fighting Championship, a bare-knuckle mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion. Now, the Gamebred Fighting Championship has its main event and a date.
Before stepping inside the octagon against Kamaru Usman at UFC 261, ‘Gamebred’ announced on Instagram that he decided to host a bare-knuckle MMA promotion. That is when it became public knowledge.

Recently, ‘Gamebred’ made an Instagram post announcing the inaugural Gamebred Fighting Championship 1 main event and date.
The main event will feature the former UFC fighter Jason Knight in a bare-knuckle featherweight clash against the featherweight MMA veteran Charles Bennett.
There has been no further information provided for the undercard. The inaugural GFC 1 will take place on 18th June 2021 at the Biloxi Community Center.
