‘Durinho‘ was on course to face ‘Gamebred‘. The American MMA fighter’s last Octagon appearance featured a fight against former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington. Moreover, the battle ended with Covington claiming the spoils of victory with the judge’s decision.

He said, “But now you’re keeping in Magny and you’re keeping Burns. Burns doesn’t know 2 words, Burns doesn’t know ‘No’. He doesn’t know that word”
“It’s like when Burns was trying to be bilingual and he was trying to like, it was as though somebody played a joke on him and only taught him how to say ‘Yes’.” he further added.

Moreover, it is equally important to know that Masvidal underwent an operation on his hand that would have made him unfit for any battle. For this reason, it was rumored that Masvidal turned down the opportunity to fight Burns.
